Description (Brief)
Piece of concrete has a smooth section at the top which was the area where the skaters would skate. Carlsbad Skate Park, California's first skate park opened in March of 1976. It was built by Jack Graham and the donor, John O'Malley and continued to operate until 1979, when it was buried, intact, beneath a layer of dirt for more than two decades. O'Malley retrieved this piece from the park when it was demolished in 2005.
