    Summary

    Shown here is the nozzle for one of the rockets used on the spacecraft NASA launched for the Surveyor program from 1966 to 1968. NASA launched seven spacecraft on lunar missions to test the feasibility of soft landings on the moon, in anticipation of the human lunar missions that followed later in the decade.
    Donated by the Thiokol Chemical Corporation.
