Description
Newsweek magazine featuring a color photograph of two (2) left forearms raised on the right side of the cover. The raised hands are held in contrasting positions. The hand in the lower right quadrant is clenched in a fist, the other, in the upper right quadrant, is raised with the fingers slightly closed toward the palm. At the top of the cover in red is the publication title, underlined [Newsweek]. Within the underline, on the left, is the publication date and price in black text [NOVEMBER 20, 1967 50 ¢]. In the center on the left side in blue and black text is the publication's featured subject [THE NEGRO/IN AMERICA/What/Must/Be/Done]. In the lower left corner is additional text contained within a red line at top and a blue line below [A PROGRAM FOR ACTION].
