Description

This program commemorates a global tour made by Major League Baseball's New York Giants and Chicago White Sox, who in 1912-1913 visited countries such as Japan, China, Australia, Egypt, Italy, France and England. Cover features photographs of Giant's owner Harry Hempstead and Manager John McGraw, and White Sox owner Charles Comiskey and Manager James Callahan. Images inside include Chicago's Comiskey Park and New York's Polo Grounds, and Team Lineup Scorecards feature such notable players as Jim Thorpe, Christy Mathewson, Buck Weaver and Hal Chase.
