Summary
This is an unflown Centuri Mini-Max model rocket motor from 1966. It is made of pasteboard and contains non-explosive propellant. It produces a maximum thrust of 3.5 lbs, placing it in the lower range of the power of motors sold commercially. A motor is used only once to power a model rocket. G. Harry Stine, a pioneer in the field of flying rocket models, donated this artifact to NASM in 1973.
