drawing
ACM
12 1/2 × 9 7/16 in. (31.7 × 24 cm) The drawing is divided in two scenes depicting an outdoor market place. In the upper scene a woman sits under an umbrella on the right side of the drawing. She is surrounded by baskets with fresh produce. Her proper left arm is pointing towards her front where a wooden wagon with two wheels is located. A person behind the wagon is visible. There is an umbrella and some baskets visible on the right hand of the drawing a little further away. The pencil strokes are harder, more abstract and less detailed. The lower right scene depicts the detail of two wooden wagons stacked on top of each other. The left scene is done with similar abstract pencil strokes like the above scene. An umbrella and tables with items stacked on top of each other are depicted. Parts of the perforated edge is visible.
