    World War I Service Medal presented to Beckwith Havens; Obverse: relief of an American "Doughboy" soldier with an angel behind depicted, embossed text "WORLD WAR"; Reverse: relief of a laurel leaf and oak leaf branch with engraved scrolls listing the a number of the combatant nations, "BELGIUM, ITALY, SIRBIA, FRANCE, GERMANY, RUSSIA", embossed text "FOR SERVICE 1917-1919 PRESENTED BY THE STATE OF NEW YORK".
