Description (Brief)

Round collegiate button, yellow with purple outline of the Louisiana State Universiety Tiger mascot at the center of the button. Text reads I Like L.S.U.
Louisiana State University has had a football program since 1893. The University adopted a tiger mascot in 1896 to represent the state's confederate heritage, as Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia was known as the "Tigers." Also, two brigades from New Orleans had connections to the Tiger nickname. One was the Tiger Rifles and the other was the Washington Artillery, whose logo featured a tiger head.
