Summary
This is a "Block I," unflown keyboard and display unit (DSKY) for the Apollo Command Module's Guidance Computer. The Block I units were installed on early unmanned Apollo capsules, but by the time of the first manned mission (Apollo 7, in 1968) the computer and DSKY were both replaced by a more advanced, "Block II" design.
This object was manufactured by Raytheon Corp. and transferred by NASA to the museum in 1972.
