The movie is based on the memoir Julie & Julia by Julie Powell and autobiography My Life in France by Julia Child and Alex Prud’homme. Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, Stanley Tucci, Chris Messina, and Linda Emond star in this comedy directed by Nora Ephron.
Meryl Streep won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy in 2009 for her performance as Julia Child.
