Summary

Volunteer Aircraft-Restoration Technician John Shatz works at the National Air and Space Museum's Garber Facility in Suitland, MD, at a table next to the Hurricane, stripped down to little more than its metal-tube frame. The Hawker Hurricane was the type of fighter made famous in 1940 during the Battle of Britain.
