    Summary

    Illustrated letter from painter John French Sloan to artist and critic Walter Pach. Sloan writes to Pach about driving his new and first car, and includes an ink illustration of his car ascending what is presumably the La Bajada Hill route in New Mexico entitled "Climbing La Bahada."
