Description (Brief)
Pullover jacket worn by snowboarder Chloe Kim at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games. The jacket zips halfway down and is black on the bottom half with black and white line designs on the upper portion and hood. The sleeves are white at the upper arms and black at the lower arms. There are two stars and an American flag appliqued on the right sleeve and "USA" and the Volcom logo appliqued on the left sleeve. There are two large zipper pockets on the front of the jacket.
Chloe Kim is a second-generation, Korean American snowboarder who wore this snowboarding outer wear while earning her second Olympic gold medal in the halfpipe event at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Kim had become the youngest woman to win a gold medal in snowboarding at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics also winning two ESPY awards that year for Best Female Athlete and Best Female Olympian. Earning six X Games gold medals in as many years, Kim was the first woman to land back-to-back 1080 spins or three full revolutions, securing a perfect 100 points, the only woman to do so. Off the slopes, Kim has become a role model for Asian American female athletes and has spoken out against anti-Asian hate during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.
