Summary
These are eight unflown aluminum panels that were secured to the titanium structure underneath the beryllium shingles of the Gemini Reentry Control System (RCS) Section. This section was located at the front part of the Gemini capsule between the cabin and the Rendezvous and Recovery Section. It housed the fuel and oxidizer tanks, valves, tube assemblies, and thrust chamber assemblies of the RCS.
McDonnell Aircraft made these panels and donated them to NASM in 1970.
