    Summary

    NASA had this hold down arm available during ground preparations of the IMAX camera used in the payload bay of the space shuttle. This arm and a second were used when the camera rested on the base to secure the unit during period of inactivity and were removed prior to the cameras insertion into the container for flight.
    Gift of the IMAX Corporation in 2011.
