    James expresses his condolences for the loss of their mutual friend Francis Davis Millet in the sinking of the Titanic, and asks after the whereabouts of Millet's wife Lily.
    Second page of letter is lacking, but a complete typed transcript of the letter may be found in the Francis Davis Millet and Millet Family papers.
