In 1938 Henry Armstrong was world champion of professional boxing’s featherweight, lightweight and welterweight divisions, making him the only pugilist to hold title belts from three different weight classes at the same time. Between 1932 and 1945, the five- and half-foot tall fighter known as “Homicide Hank” compiled a phenomenal record of 151-21-9, with 101 of those wins coming by knockout. Following retirement, Armstrong became a Baptist minister.r.
