Summary
This microphone is one of a pair installed as part of the communications equipment in the G4-C Helmet worn by Neil Armstrong during his Gemini 8 mission in March 1966. It was installed on the interior, right side of the helmet, with a matching microphone to the left. They could be maneuvered slightly for comfort and function.
Transferred to the National Air and Space Museum from NASA - Manned Spacecraft Center in 1968
