    FROM CARD: "THE SHELL IS OF DARK COLORED WOOD, CYLINDRICAL FOR ABOUT HALF ITS LENGTH FROM WHICH IT TAPERS CONOIDAL TO WAIST. BELOW THIS IT IS CYLINDRICAL A SHORT DISTANCE THEN EXPANDS LIKE ACONE TO ITS BASE. IT IS HOLLOW FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. IT HAS ONE HEAD, THE SKIN OF THE IGUANA LIZZARD WHICH IS CEMENTED TO SHELL WITH FRESH BLOOD AND HELD BY A WRAPPING OF CORD UNTIL DRIED. IT IS A FAVORITE INSTRUMENT OF MUSIC WITH THE NATIVES. IT IS HELD UNDER THE LEFT ARM SUSPENDED BY A CORD OVER THE SHOULDER AND BEATEN WITH THE FINGERS OF THE RIGHT HAND." FROM CARD: "DRUM (SE-BAK) OF THE BRIBRIS AND (ZHUNG) OF THE TIRIBIS INDIANS. SHELL, OF DARK WOOD, GOBLET-SHAPED, AND OPEN AT BOTH ENDS; HEAD, OF IGUANA SKIN, CEMENTED TO THE SHELL AND HELD BY A WRAPPING OF CORD.
