Summary
The AN-6530 were a mid-World War II production modification for both the Army and Navy. The AN-6530 were a essentially a strengthened version of the Army Air Forces Type B-7 flying goggles. This pair was worn by Lt. Louis R. Purnell of the 99th Fighter Squadron, United States Army Air Forces.
