George Tsutakawa: An Artist's Pilgrimage

Japanese American sculptor George Tsutakawa discusses his training, WWII Japanese internment camps, views on art, and commissions in Seattle and Japan. The installation of his "Fountain of Lotus" in his ancestral home of Fukayama, Japan, 1988, is documented. Program created from footage shot for the Archives of American Art's "George Tsutakawa in Japan Video Project," and "George Tsutakawa Video Interviews."
