Description
This model has a wooden cubical frame with strings connecting supports. A blue yarn runs through string. It represents a twisted cubic, a curve which cannot be contained in a plane. The tangent lines to the twisted cubic are represented by yellow thread. Euler proved that the surface generated by these tangents can be flattened into a plane. A mark on the object reads: Scroll of higher order.
