Description
This model of a hinged dissection has six pieces which may be arranged as a square or as two smaller squares ((one small square is not hinged to the other pieces). The model is marked on the back "Gnomon into a Square" and "6SI" " squares. It also is marked there "Remove this square to make a 6ST Gnomon."
This corresponds to model 6SI in Wheeler's list of models. The reference to a model 6ST (with five pieces) is unclear. There is a drawing for this model, dated April 29, 1932, in 1979.3002.43, folder 1.
