Figurine, Lindbergh, King Collection

A molded blue hollow plastic doll of a young Lindbergh wearing a flight jacket, cap and goggles. The surface of the doll is painted blue with two black spots in the eyes. The figurine is depicted holding onto a wrench in his left hand.

On May 20-21, 1927, Charles Lindbergh literally flew into history when he crossed the Atlantic Ocean in his Ryan NYP Spirit of St. Louis, thus becoming the first pilot to fly solo and nonstop from New York to Paris.
