    This large orchid has a flower head which is pollinated by hummingbirds and covered in a gelatinous substance.

    Inflorescence is short with a cluster of pink flowers arranged in a head. The head is over 4" (10.2 cm) across and covered in a gelatinous material. Each flower is about .4" (1 cm) across.
