    From card: "Two hawks with crowns of Lower Egypt; between them a palm tree. "Fraud" - Dr. H. Ranke, U. of Pa. Mus., 4/15/39."
    Heart scarab. Seems authentic amulet, but inscription on base is bizarre. Johns Hopkins University Egyptologist Betsy Bryan thinks original scarab is ok, inscription added later to enhance souvenir value. Steatite, doesn't seem to have been glazed.
