Description
This exquisite set of lappets was probably made during the first quarter of the 18th century in Flanders. The beautiful design of flower vases with floral swags is executed in Flemish Point d'Angleterre bobbin lace with droschel ground in fine linen thread showing excellent workmanship. The lappets gradually increase in width from four inches at the rounded ends to five inches at the joined center.
