Description

This blue ink Expo dry erase marker is low odor, non-toxic, and conforms to ASTM D4236. The marker was used by the donor when teaching mathematics at the Greens Farms Elementary School in Westport, Connecticut.
ASTM D4236 covers the labeling of art materials (packaged for individual users or small groups of any age) in relation to chronic health hazards. It requires that any potentially hazardous components of the product be clearly labeled on the packaging.
ASTM is an independent international organization that develops and publishes technical standards for materials, products, and services. Compliance is voluntary, however, in the United States, many standards have been adopted by federal and state government regulations.
