Description
This black-and-white photograph depicts a man playing a traditional African drum. Wearing a black beret and a camouflage jacket, the figure is turned three-quarters away from the viewer. The drum, which he is beating with his bare hands, is slung over his left shoulder on a white rope. Behind him are a large crowd of men, some sitting on the grass and some standing. In the background is the National Museum of Air and Space.
