Description
This is the “Dramatic Opal" ring designed and created by jeweler Art Smith. The ring is made of a thin twisted silver sheet forming the band with a large bridge. From the front view of the ring, on one side of the ring's head is a curved, cut out piece. On the edge of the head has a single twist. The remaining head of the ring holds the gemstone. The precious opal gemstone is set in a bezel setting, encased in metal overlapping the edges of the gemstone. The gemstone has a horizontal scratch. The ring has one hallmark inside the band, Smith’s signature [Art Smith].
