Summary
This water dispenser was used for training purposes prior to the Apollo missions of the 1960s. Dispensers such as this were part of the equipment carried aboard the spacecraft, and is made of stainless steel. It was designed to dispense measured amounts of hot or cold water into the food containers.
Transferred to the National Air and Space Museum from NASA in 1978.
