    A black and white image of March on Washington participants, sitting on the edge of the Reflecting Pool with their feet in water.
    The image depicts one corner of the Reflecting Pool, with the water on the right side and the edges along the center and top of the image. A crowd of people sitting along the edge with their feet in the water. There are men and women, boys and girls. Some have their pant legs rolled up and some are wearing skirts or shorter pants. More people sit and stand behind them.
