In Episode 106 ("The Last Flower") of the "Smithsonian World" television series, host David McCullough interviewed biologist Devra Kleiman, acting assistant director of the National Zoological Park about the zoo's research on golden lion tamarins. "Smithsonian World" was a co-production of the Smithsonian Institution and WETA-TV. This episode was underwritten by the James S. McDonnell Foundation and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Executive producer and director, Martin Carr; the writer, Michael Winship.
