    Description

A dark iridescent green taffeta and rainbow sequin dress designed by Peter Davy. The dress is strapless with off-the-shoulder sleeves and a full-length skirt. The bodice is made from rainbow-colored sequins sewn to a black woven stretch backing fabric, with a slight flare to the bodice below the waist creating a short peplum. The tops of the sleeves are oversized poufs made from the green taffeta, with the top of each pouf lined in elastic, a short loop of which extends out and attaches each sleeve to the top of the bodice. The lower portion of each full-length sleeve is fitted and is made from the rainbow sequin fabric. The full skirt is gathered at the waist and is made from the green iridescent taffeta. The dress closes at the proper left side bodice with a green metal and plastic zipper.
The dress is not lined. Stiff synthetic yellow net is sewn on the interior upper half of each sleeve pouf. A white fabric label with black printed text is sewn at the interior proper left side seam near the zipper that reads, "An Original / by / Peter Davy" with three (3) black diamonds down the proper left side of the label.
