    Summary

This small notebook was used during extra-vehicular activities conducted during the Skylab 3 mission in 1973. It contains instructions for the operation of the astronaut maneuvering unit during the M509 experiment.
The booklet was designed to fit into an attachment band fastened in place on the astronaut's arm with a velcro closure. The spiral bound nature enabled the pages to be turned while wearing spacesuit gloves and remain in place while operating the maneuvering unit.
Transferred from NASA to the Museum in 1984.
