Description

Lobby card for Zonic Productions’ 1957 motion picture, Count Five and Die. Victor Vicas directed this thriller about German, British, and American espionage rings in World War II. Jeffrey Hunter, Annemarie Düringer, and Nigel Patrick star in this film. This card features several scenes from the film as well as prominent images of Captain Bill Ranson and Rolande Hertog.

Lobby cards were once a popular form of advertisement for motion pictures. The publicity departments of Hollywood studios created cards featuring striking images of their latest films and delivered sets to theatres across the country. Lobby cards were created to entice future audiences and increase ticket sales.
