Object Details
Description
Mabel Julianelli designed these pumps during the brief period (1964-1969) when Corfam shoes were on the market. Dupont intended Corfam to be a synthetic replacement for leather, but cancelled production when customers complained that this new material did not breathe or stretch. The inscription reads "8 1/2 / 32855 / Julianelli / DuPont / Corfam / Poromeric Upper."
