    Object Details

    Description

This handheld electronic calculator has a tan plastic case with rectangular brown plastic buttons. In addition to ten digit keys, it has a decimal point key, a percentage key, four arithmetic function keys, a squared key, a square root key, and an inverse key. The top row of keys includes the on/off switch, clear key, clear entry key, and a memory key. Behind the keyboard is an eight-digit light-emitting diode display. A mark above this reads: Collins (/) 823. An outlet for an adapter is on the left side.
The back of the calculator has a battery compartment with cover and printed operating instructions. There are four metal screws holding the back and front of the case together, but one of them is stuck.
No records of a calculator manufacturer by the name of Collins found as yet. The trademark of Collins Radio Company is different from the mark on the calculator.
