    Description

    Coffee service consisting of tray (a), creamer (b), coffee pot (c) and sugar bowl (d). Service features repoussé and chased with flowers and tendrils, all parts engraved with interlaced monogram ECM. Tray (a) is rectangular-shaped with cut out handles. Engraved on bottom: “Presented by the Attachés of the Sheriff's Office of New York County during years 1902–1903 to Edward C. Moen Under Sheriff.” Creamer (b) with short body, curved handle, and tall neck forming open spout. Coffee pot (c) with tall neck, slender spot, and curved handle with ivory rings. Domed, hinged cover with finial. Sugar bowl (d) is squat bowl with scrolled foot and rim, curved handles.
