Summary

Three of these simple spring clamps were provided to Apollo 11 astronauts to secure the urine collection and transfer assembly during donning and doffing. Such methods of securing items are critical to living in working in space where a lack of gravity allows items to move in multiple directions.
NASA transferred this clamp to the Museum in 1970 with other Apollo 11 equipment.
