Cimarrón is an all-star team of instrumentalists and singers from Colombia. In this video, they perform "Pajarillo" at the 2009 Smithsonian Folklife Festival as part of the Las Américas program on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. This captures the group's third performance at the Festival, which is also part of the 10-day program Colombia: The Nature of Culture. The song is featured on their 2004 album, 'Sí, soy llanero: Joropo Music from the Orinoco Plains of Colombia,' available on CD and digital.
