    Description (Brief)

    Matthew Shepard was a college student, targeted for being gay, robbed, and brutally murdered in Laramie, Wyoming, in 1998. Judy Shepard said that she and Matt liked to make a cornbread recipe together. He entered it and won a ribbon at the Casper fair.
    Purple ribbon for the Central Wyoming Fair in Casper, Wyoming. Paper entry form attached via yellow string for the. Form indicates the ribbon was awarded for a food entry to the fair.
