Notes
As with the other Eighth Generation sold cases, this cellphone/mobile phone case was designed by the collective and the artist. The cellphone case is thermpoplastic resin with a maple and walnut face incised with a formline design in black outline that depicts a stylized raven with an abalone sphere held in it's beak, with rays (of light) radiating from the sphere. An impressed pattern is visible around the sides of the case. Portals created in the case provide access to phone buttons and plugs. "First Dawn" featuring raven formline design, "... tells the story of how Raven stole the sun and brought light to the world as told in Tsimshian oral histories about the creation of the world."
