    Note re photos: color digital negative # 2005-33140 is shot of four canopic jars, Catalogue Nos. 289288-91, together in one shot.
    Inscription, "The Osiris Hapy, Mistress of the house, noble lady (shepsetit), sistrum player of Amun-Re in the fourth phyle (group of clergy), Nesytnetjeret (she who belongs to the goddess), vindicated daughter of the priest of Amun in Karnak, Horus, his mother, AnkhesenIset (she lives for Isis), vindicated." Jar catalog number 289288 is Hapy, correct lid is 289289.
    From NMNH Exhibit Hall "Eternal Life in Ancient Egypt" label for this artifact, 2011: Canopic jar (cast), 945-712 BC. Containers like this held the deceased's lungs, stomach, liver, and intestines. The correct lid represents one of the four sons of Horus - Hapi (baboon) - who stood guard over the organs.
