Summary
This 16 mm motion picture camera was flown aboard an Aerobee-hi rocket on October 5, 1954. The photomosaic assembled from pictures taken on that flight was reported to be the first high altitude color picture of a major weather front. This is one of the two cameras on the flight responsible for the mosaic, and it was transferred to the Museum by the Naval Research Laboratory. The original photomosaic is also in the collection (A19620042).
