    Silver painted surface; delco motor attached (part # 5069740).
    9 x 9 negative size

    Summary

    Mounted in the belly of a Boeing B-29, this high-altitude, day reconnaissance camera photographed "Project Juno," two atomic bomb tests at Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands in June 1946. The camera's optical performance was then evaluated at the National Bureau of Standards for the precise interpretation of the aerial photography. The camera has a 6-inch Bausch and Lomb 90-degree metrogon lens.
