Bottle, Lindbergh, King Collection

A long-necked, clear glass bottle with red and white decals. The front of the bottle has a white cloud with an airplane flying in front of it. On the cloud is the word "LINDY" in red lettering. Below the cloud in a white box in red lettering "Beverage" In white lettering on the neck of the bottle are the words "Lindy's Beverage." The back of the bottle lists the ingredients in the drink in white lettering.

On May 20-21, 1927, Charles Lindbergh literally flew into history when he crossed the Atlantic Ocean in his Ryan NYP Spirit of St. Louis, thus becoming the first pilot to fly solo and nonstop from New York to Paris. This flight made Lindbergh a household name and catapulted him into fame and celebrity.
