    Description

    This black and white photograph depicts Billie Holiday and Dorothy R. Hornsby seated at a table. Billie Holliday, wearing a white hat and white buttoned up coat, sits slightly sideways, partially turned towards the viewer. To her right sits Hornsby in a white button down blouse. She faces the viewer, her right arm propped on the table in front of them, her left arm resting on Billie Holiday's shoulder. There are glasses and plates on the corner of the table in front of them. In the background is a man seated at a piano.
