    This photograph depicts a man in mid-laugh. His helmet is hanging off of his left forearm and he is holding a gas mask in his hands. A tent stands behind him on the right side of the photo. The Signal Corps USA logo appears in the bottom left corner. The number [25930] is written next to the logo. The words [Big Nims- 366 Inf. Ainvelle, Vosges, France, Aug., 1918.] are written at the bottom inside the white border. The top right corner of the photograph is torn.
