Description (Brief)
Baseball card album from the Cuban leagues. It was sponsored by “Caramelo,” a candy company. It has eight pages printed front and back with info, stats, bios and portraits of Cuban players, managers, and umpires from the Cuban teams of Marianao, La Habana, Cienfuegos, and Almendares. One could then match the information to a “baseball card” and paste it on. Included are Negro League Cubans and U.S. baseball players. The album also includes a list of the winning teams and champion bats from 1878 -1879 to 1944-1945. In addition, the album lists the records established in big baseball league, including in the United States.
